The Evans
This simple but elegant coal grate is an authentic late Nineteenth Century reproduction found in a Georgia Victorian Cottage and has been manufactured exclusively by Grate Fires for 14 years. The Evans is made of cast iron with a satin black finish. Don't be fooled by imitators, there is only one true Evans basket

Log Effect Evans
Now available with all of our decorative baskets! These beautiful ceramic logs are made of the same material as our coals, so you receive the same warm, wonderful glow. Each of our burners have a set of logs sized to fit our grates.
Soft curves are featured on the ribbed sides of this basket with contrasting brass legs. The Cadiz 18" features an urn design on the fireback. The 21" Cadiz has the same curved, ribbed sides with brass legs with the fireback being slightly more ornate. DIMENSIONS OF THE 18": 18" wide, 11.5" deep and 13" high.

This ribbed basket design is a replica of a grate found in New Orleans, Louisiana. The 17.75" high fireback on the Fleur-de-Lys is highlighted by an elegant raised Fleur-de-Lys pattern. On the Victorian grate an embossed sunburst design graces the 16.75" high fireback. The front coverplate repeats the ribbed sides and is finished with a brass knob.
